Move Objects, Cut and paste objects

Need some ideas on how to do the following DXL script or any sample DXL script to do the following tasks, please:

A System module has a large number of objects. Each object has a single sentence requirement consisting of the word "shall" in the object text.

Each object has one of the following values as an "Allocation" attribute value that indicates allocation type of the object:
Process Requirement
Performance Requirement
Functional Requirement
Electrical Requirement
Mechanical Requirement
Software Requirement
Environmental Requirement

Each of these System module objects  have in-links from Customer module.

All of the objects are in the random order of the allocation type.

Goal is to write a DXL script to move the System module objects, and group them
according to the allocation type.

Any ideas on how to write this DXL script or any sample script will be very helpful, please.

Thanks and best regards,

Hi Mike,

The examples on the following page might help:

Moving objects is relatively simple, the only thing to be wary of is that you test for moving an object after/below itself.

Hi Tony, Thanks a bunch for the nice link to the DXL information about objects sorting. I will go through the DXL code and create the DXL to do task I need to do. Again thanks and best regards.
